Mostly me talking about shiny things.
I am an AWN user, and I like it a lot, but I cannot see why this feature is necessary?
nzjrs, There are several reasons. Including:a) Different users really do have different preferences/needs from the context menub) Leave us in a good position for modifications of context menus over dbus (plugins etc).c) Makes it much, much easier to experiment with the menu configuration to find the best defaults.
This is cool, but when will we see a an official, stable 0.4 release? What's left to complete?
Forest,Good question. One of our devs who mostly deals with the build system / distributions side of things has been very busy with other (paying) matters recently. Basically when he gets the time there will be a merge and, hopefully soon afterwards, a 0.4 branch. I think it is also fair to say that gilir will be making sure there's some 0.4 package for Ubuntu Lucid regardless.
Is it any way to make the menus contextual to each application or a group of apps -by using mime/type for example- ?I loved those menus, the idea is BRILLIANT!
